But then the day comes when your child celebrates his or her children’s party. There are countless choices, both indoors and outdoors. Hence this article. Maybe that will make the choice a little easier.
We have probably all had to think about a children’s party. What are we going to do, how many children do we invite, do we stay at home, or do something outside the home? These are all questions that arise when organizing a children’s party.
I have worked out some nice ideas for you. There are three age categories, namely toddlers and preschoolers, 6-9 year-olds, and 10 years and older.

Indoors
Color your t-shirt
Buy some white t-shirts and fabric paint. Let the children paint their own t-shirts. Of course, you don’t forget to give the children something nice.
Theme Party
Face Painting Party
Children always enjoy a face painting party. Most children love to be painted. The children can be painted as a bear, lions, tigers, butterflies, princesses, spiderman, pirates, etc. You can choose to paint the children yourself, but you can also hire someone for this.
Outdoors
Treasure hunt; Set up a fun treasure hunt and go outside with the children.
Bowling; Take the kids to a bowling alley and let them go wild.
Petting zoo; Take the children to a petting zoo. There are always petting zoos in the area that do something special for children’s parties.
Cinema; Cozy going to the cinema with a number of children.
Age 6-9 Years Children’s Party
Indoors
Airbrush and glitter tattoo party; This is a really cool ‘boy party’ for boys. During the party, all the boys get a number of self-chosen tattoos. For the girls, there is a real ‘glitter party’. The girls get a number of tattoos sprayed on with airbrush and then decorate them themselves with glitter.
Mosaics; let the children make a picture frame or flower vase or something else beautiful with homemade mosaics.
Disco party; dancing to all kinds of music. What child doesn’t like that? If you have enough space, invite the whole class. Success assured. And in the summer, of course, a real garden party/disco can be held.
Making jewelry; What girl doesn’t like to make her own jewelry? This can very well be done at home. Just drop by the hobby shop, and beautiful creations can be made.

A treasure hunt is also a fun activity for children in this age group.
Covered wagon ride
Ask a forest close to you whether there are covered wagons for rent. Very nice through the woods with a nice meal in a pancake restaurant at the end.

Cooking party
Put an apron on all children and let them make a real meal together and then eat it together.
Slumber party
Let some children sleep. Turn the bedroom into a real hotel. Little sleep will come.
Make-up party
Which girls don’t like make-up? Throw a make-up party and let the girls make up each other nicely, and then of course take a nice picture.
Outdoors
Disco swimming
At this age, most children have a swimming diploma. Inquire at a swimming pool in the area about the times of disco swimming.
Cake making workshop
Very nice and of course very tasty, make your own cake and then enjoy it.
Laser gaming
Very cool and exciting to do during a children’s party.
